Me, Myself and I

Love.

I think this word describes me pretty well. I don't say this because I'm that girl who watches those really lame sappy movies that no one really wants to admit they watch.(Which I am and do by the way). I say the word "love" describes me a lot because it is who I am. My name for starters is Preeti, but you can call me Preet. What's it mean, you ask? Take a guess, I dare ya! That's right, it means love.

As for my life, I seriously "heart" life. Through my short 21 years, I've grown to really appreciate it since it started out a little rough. I was diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy type II at the age of a year and a half. Now, I don't want to give a whole genetics lecture about it(that's when you know me a little better!) but we'll just say it weakens most of the muscles in my body and makes me weaker as time progresses. Now before you start to cry me a river, seriously don't. Though I do think my disability is apart of my identity, I truly believe it is one of the best things to happen to me. I am one happy gimp. I try to live my life to the fullest and happiest that I can. I don't think I would be the person I am today or meet the people I have throughout my life without my disability. Besides, how else would I get awesome concert seats without a wheelchair?

As far as education goes, I am currently a college student majoring in Public Relations and minoring in Advertising. I'd like to get into promotion for something concerning music or entertainment but as of now, I'll take anything I can get in the field.
